Brand

The Brand tab lets you edit your brand's internal information, fiscal data, and provides access to the danger zone for brand deletion.

Accessing brand settings

Go to Settings → Brand.

Brand information

Name and image

The brand name and image are used only for internal reference in the Fanz dashboard. They appear in the brand selector (top left of the navbar) but are never shown to customers.

You can change the name and image at any time.

Where it appears

The brand selector in the top left of the dashboard shows:

  • Brand image (logo)
  • Brand name

From this selector you can:

  • Switch between your brands
  • Create a new brand

Fiscal data

Fiscal data is used for Fanz billing purposes. It includes:

  • Entity type
  • Tax ID
  • Legal name
  • Fiscal address
  • Other tax-related information

Verification status

Before verification: You can edit all fiscal data freely.

After verification: Fiscal data is locked and cannot be changed.

Why verification? Fanz manually verifies brands to ensure they're legitimate. This protects the platform and your customers.

Important warning

If your fiscal data is invalid, Fanz reserves the right to delete the brand and refund all purchases. Always enter accurate information.

Multiple brands

When to create multiple brands

  • Different payment accounts: Each brand can only have one payment provider. Need separate accounts? Create separate brands.
  • Separate businesses: Keep different business lines organized
  • Different fiscal entities: If you operate under different legal entities

Creating a new brand

From the brand selector (top left), click Create new brand and fill in the same information required for your original brand.

If you already have one or more websites, the create form now requires an explicit selection:

  • No website (unassigned)
  • Or one of your existing websites

There is no automatic default assignment in this step.

Brand and whitelabel relationship

Key rule: A user can own multiple websites, and each brand is explicitly assigned to one website (or left unassigned).

ScenarioResult
You create a brand and choose a website in the formThe brand is assigned to that website
You create a brand and choose "No website (unassigned)"The brand remains unassigned until you assign it later
You create a new websiteExisting brands are not automatically reassigned

Brand ↔ website association is managed per brand, not by an automatic user-level grouping.

Note: Brands can have the same fiscal data and same payment method—there are no validations preventing this.

Assign or reassign website later

If you picked the wrong option during brand creation, you can change it later:

  1. Go to Settings → Brand
  2. Edit the brand
  3. In Website assignment, choose:
    • another website, or
    • No website (unassigned)
  4. Save changes

Danger zone

At the bottom of the Brand tab is the danger zone with the option to delete the brand.

Brand deletion

⚠️ This action is irreversible.

Deleting a brand permanently removes:

  • All events
  • All sales data
  • All configurations
  • All team members' access

Only proceed if you're absolutely certain you want to delete everything.

No. Once Fanz verifies your brand, fiscal data is locked. Contact support if you have a legitimate need to update it.

No. The brand name is only for internal reference in the dashboard. Your website name is configured separately in Website settings.

Yes. There's no validation preventing brands from sharing the same payment method or fiscal data.

You can't move events between brands. Each brand is completely independent: events, orders, and settings belong exclusively to that brand. If you need the event in another brand, you have to recreate it manually. You also cannot move purchase orders from one brand to another.

All events, sales data, and configurations are permanently deleted. This cannot be undone.

Not directly by ownership. Brand-to-website assignment is explicit and still respects brand ownership/permissions. For collaborative work, use team roles and permissions.
