Discount codes

The Discount codes tab lets you create global discount codes that work across multiple events—unlike event-specific discounts, these can apply to any combination of events, dates, and tickets you choose.

Accessing discount codes

Go to Settings → Discount codes.

Creating a multi-event discount

Click Create discount to open the creation modal.

Step 1: Select events

Click Select events to see a list of all active events.

  • Select individual events by clicking on them
  • Use Select all to choose all events at once
  • Click Done when finished

Step 2: Select dates

By default, all dates from selected events are included.

  • Click Select event dates to customize
  • Unselect specific dates if needed
  • Click Done when finished

Step 3: Select tickets

Choose which ticket types the discount applies to.

  • Use the dropdown to select specific tickets
  • You can select multiple ticket types

Step 4: Configure the discount

Code

The code customers enter at checkout (e.g., 2X1BLACKFRIDAY).

Tip: Don't make codes too easy to guess. Avoid obvious names like DISCOUNT or FREE.

Discount amount

Percentage discount only (e.g., 20 for 20% off).

Minimum order

Minimum number of tickets required to use the discount.

  • Set to 1 for no minimum
  • Set to 2+ for multi-ticket requirements

Maximum order

Maximum number of tickets the discount applies to.

Example: Minimum 2, Maximum 4 means:

  • Customers must buy at least 2 tickets
  • Discount only applies to first 4 tickets (5th+ would be full price)

Presets

Preset buttons appear below the discount, minimum order, and maximum order fields. Tap one to instantly fill all fields for common NxM promotions:

PresetDiscountMinimum orderBuy in multiples
2×150%2Yes
3×233%3Yes
4×325%4Yes
  • Tapping an active preset deactivates it and resets the fields to their default values
  • Fields can still be manually edited after applying a preset

Step 5: Buy in multiples (optional)

Appears when minimum order is greater than 1.

When enabled, customers must buy in multiples of the minimum order.

Example 1: 2x1 promotion

  • Discount: 50%
  • Minimum order: 2
  • Buy in multiples: On
  • Result: Customers can buy 2, 4, 6, 8... tickets (pairs only). They pay for 1, 2, 3, 4... respectively.

Example 2: 3x2 promotion

  • Discount: 33.33%
  • Minimum order: 3
  • Buy in multiples: On
  • Result: Customers can buy 3, 6, 9, 12... tickets (multiples of 3 only). They pay for 2, 4, 6, 8... respectively.

Step 6: Limit uses (optional)

By default, discounts can be used unlimited times.

Turn on to set a maximum number of uses.

Important: 1 use = 1 discounted ticket. If someone buys 10 tickets with the discount, that's 10 uses. For example, if you want to give away 10 "2x1" promotions (i.e., 20 tickets), set the limit to 20 uses.

Step 7: Schedule the discount

Start time:

  • Now: Discount is active immediately
  • Scheduled: Pick a future date and time

End time:

  • When ticket sales end: Discount works while tickets are on sale
  • Scheduled: Pick a specific end date and time
