Memberships overview

Fanz lets you manage membership subscriptions alongside your ticket sales. Create recurring revenue by offering exclusive benefits, event discounts, and member-only access.


Why offer memberships?

Recurring customers are significantly more valuable than one-time buyers. Memberships let you:

  • Generate predictable revenue — Monthly recurring income you can count on
  • Reward loyal customers — Give discounts and perks to your best audience
  • Create exclusivity — Offer member-only events or early access
  • Reduce marketing costs — Members come back without needing promotions

Before you start

To create membership plans, you need:

  1. A connected payment processor — Go to Memberships → Settings and connect Mercado Pago or Stripe
  2. A way to display plans — Create a custom page with a Memberships block

Subscription plans you create in Fanz are synced with your payment processor account. Fanz handles the management while your processor handles the billing.


How members subscribe

  1. Visitor goes to your custom page with membership plans
  2. They see plan cards with image, name, price, and benefits preview
  3. Click View more to see full details and FAQs
  4. Select a variation (if applicable) and click Enroll
  5. Fill in personal details (name, email, ID, phone)
  6. Enter payment card details
  7. Initial payment processes (may take 1-2 hours with Mercado Pago)
  8. Once confirmed, membership is active and they receive a welcome email

Note: Each member has their own billing cycle based on when they subscribed.


How member discounts work

When a member buys tickets:

  1. They go through normal checkout
  2. When they enter their email, system detects their membership
  3. Message appears: "Membership plan detected" with a star icon
  4. Discount applies automatically to eligible tickets
  5. They complete purchase at the discounted price

No codes needed — it's automatic based on their email.

Create a custom page in Website → Pages and add a Memberships block. See Custom pages for details.

Yes. Create a discount in Memberships → Discounts for events. When members buy tickets using their registered email, the discount applies automatically.

The membership goes to "paused" status. You can see failed payments in the Payments tab with the failure reason.

Yes. In the Members tab, click Add member to register someone manually. You'll need to collect and register their payments manually each month.
