Multiple Producers in One Venue
A very common case: you own a venue, a theater, a bar or a club, and events from different external producers take place in your space. You want each producer to manage their own events from your platform without seeing everyone else's, and you need to sort out how the money reaches each of them.
There are two separate layers: operations (who can do what in the dashboard) and money (who collects and how it is settled). This guide covers both.
Operations layer: one Producer member per producer
Each external producer joins your brand as a team member with the Producer role, assigned only to their events.
How to add them
- Go to Team → Invitation links and create a link with the Producer role.
- Send the link to the producer. When they accept it, they join your brand with that role.
- Assign their events from Team → Members. Events they create themselves are assigned to them automatically.
- Repeat for each producer.
What a Producer can do (only on their assigned events)
| Area | Access |
|---|---|
| Events | View and edit their events: dates, tickets, prices, information |
| Reports | View statistics and reports for their events (no editing) |
| Sell | Record ticket office sales and send courtesies |
| Validate | Validate entry at the door |
| Customer service | Handle inquiries and refunds from their buyers |
| Chatbot inbox | View and reply to assistant conversations about their events |
What they cannot do
- See other producers' events or events you did not assign to them.
- Access Team (members, invitation links).
- Change brand settings, payment methods or the website.
- View brand-wide reports: only those of their events.
You, as the brand owner, still see everything: every producer's events, sales and reports.
Note: The full permission breakdown for the role is in Available roles. For the step-by-step on invitations and assignments, see Team and roles and Manage members.
Money layer: there is no automatic revenue split per producer
Be clear about this from the start: in Fanz, all online sales of your brand are charged through the same payment method connected under Settings → Payments. The money goes to that account, no matter which producer created the event.
Today the dashboard has no option for each producer to connect their own collection account within your brand, nor to automatically split the revenue among external producers.
That leaves you two paths.
Option A: you collect and settle on your own
The connected payment method is yours. You receive the money from every sale and agree with each producer on how and when you transfer their share, outside Fanz.
To know how much belongs to each one, use the sales reports of each event in the dashboard. Producers can also view the reports of their own events with their role.
Option B: Fanz Collects
If you would rather not collect the money yourself, the alternative is Fanz Collects (available in Argentina only): Fanz charges for the tickets and settles the money with each producer.
- Activation is not self-service: you must contact the Fanz team to set it up on your brand.
- Once active, a Payouts tab appears under Settings, where you define the beneficiaries who receive funds from your sales.
- The service terms (cost and fund release timing) are in Payment Settings.
Note: Fanz Collects is an arrangement agreed with Fanz. You will not find it as a switch you can flip on your own from the dashboard.
