Bordereaux

A bordereaux is a detailed sales report that shows ticket sales, revenue splits between venue and producer, and any applicable discounts. The Bordereaux tab in Settings lets you create and manage these configurations.

Accessing bordereaux

Go to Settings → Bordereaux.

What you'll see

If you have no configurations yet, you'll see a button to create your first one.

Once you have configurations, the screen displays a table listing all your saved configurations, making it easy to scan and manage multiple entries at once. Below that, you'll also find events that have finished and have an assigned bordereaux.

Creating a bordereaux configuration

Click Create bordereaux configuration to open the creation form.

Configuration fields

Name

A reference name for this configuration (e.g., "Standard 70/30 Split").

Venue percentage

Percentage of net revenue going to the venue.

Producer percentage (shown in the form as Producer percentage)

Percentage of net revenue going to the producer.

Note: Venue + Producer should equal 100%.

Select discounts

Add discounts that apply to the final amount. Click the + next to the dropdown to create a new discount.

Each discount has:

  • Name: Reference name
  • Type: Choose one:
    • Percentage of total sales
    • Ticket quantity (uses highest-priced rate)
    • Fixed amount

You can add multiple discounts. Created discounts are saved and can be reused in other configurations.

IP Owner

The IP owner is the owner of the intellectual property of the work presented at the event — usually the person who wrote it (author, playwright, or composer). This field is informational and appears in the bordereaux report header as attribution.

Add IP owners who receive attribution in the report. Click + to open the Create IP Owner form:

  • Name
  • Identification number
  • Email

IP owners are saved and can be reused across configurations.

  2. Select the event
  3. Go to the Bordereaux tab
  4. Select a configuration from the dropdown (or create a new one)
  5. Click Assign configuration to event

Viewing bordereaux reports

Once an event has finished and has an assigned bordereaux configuration, you can view the detailed report at:

Events → [Select event] → Bordereaux tab

The report shows:

  • Tickets sold by type
  • Price per ticket
  • Payment methods used
  • Discounts applied
  • Final payouts for venue and producer

Note: We'll cover the detailed bordereaux report in the Event management section.

Bordereaux are typically used when you're working with venues or producers who need detailed revenue split reports. If you own both the venue and production, you may not need one.

Yes, but be careful—changes affect all events using that configuration.

This depends on your agreement. Typically, the venue provides the space and the producer handles the show/event. The split reflects how revenue is divided between them.

Discounts are applied to the total before calculating the venue/producer split.

Yes. Create as many configurations as you need and assign them to different events based on your agreements.

IP means Intellectual Property. The IP owner is the person or entity that owns the rights to the work being presented, usually the person who wrote it (author, playwright, or composer). This appears in the bordereaux report header as reference and attribution.

Yes. Open the ⋮ menu on the configuration row in the table and select Delete. Make sure the configuration is not assigned to any active events before deleting it.
