Fanz mobile app
The Fanz app is the phone version of your organizer dashboard. It is built for what you need to do on the go: validate tickets at the door, sell or hand out courtesies from your phone, keep an eye on sales and find out right away when something important happens.
It is available for iPhone and Android. Search for Fanz on the App Store or Google Play and install it.
Signing in
The app uses the same account as the web dashboard. There is no separate user to create: sign in with the same email and password (or the same Google or Apple sign-in) you use on your computer.
- Open the app. You will see the welcome screen with the text Welcome.
- Tap Continue and fill in your details on the sign-in screen.
- If your account belongs to more than one organization, pick the one you want to work with. You can switch at any time from the Menu tab.
The organizations you see and what you can do in each one are exactly the same as on the web: the app follows the role you were given in the team (owner, admin, analyst, producer, validator, seller, RRPP, membership administrator or custom role).
Note: If you are on the team with a custom role, the app only shows the sections you have permission for, just like the web dashboard.
What is in the app
The bottom bar has up to four tabs plus the Menu. Which ones you see depends on your role:
| Tab | What it is for | Who sees it |
|---|---|---|
| Home | Organization overview: sales indicators and upcoming events. | Owners and admins |
| Events | Your event list, with each event's detail and the Create event option if your organization is enabled to create events. | Owners, admins, analysts and producers |
| Validate | QR code scanning at the door and entry statistics. | Owners, admins, producers and validators |
| Sell | Ticket office from your phone: sell, reserve and send courtesies. | Owners, admins, producers and sellers |
| Menu | Access to the rest of the sections, your profile and app preferences. | Everyone |
If your role is RRPP, the first tab shows your RRPP Profile directly, with your sales link and your sales.
Event detail
When you open an event from Events you find the same tabs as on the web: General, Orders, Tickets, Analytics, Members, Referrals, Discounts, Add-ons, Assistants, Communications, Bordereaux and Marketing AI. From there you can review purchases, edit tickets and prices, look at the event's analytics and manage attendees.
Menu sections
| Option | What you do there | Who sees it |
|---|---|---|
| Reports | Sales reports, purchase history and ticket office closings. | Owners, admins, analysts and producers |
| RRPP Profile | Shortcut to the RRPP profile. | Owners and admins |
| Marketing | Email campaigns, contacts, segments, automation flows and Marketing AI. | Owners and admins |
| Team | Invite people, assign roles and events. | Owners and admins |
| Customer Service | Refund requests, customer feedback, cancelled memberships and online reputation. | Owners, admins, analysts and producers |
| Chatbot | Inbox of your assistant's conversations with buyers. Requires a website. | Owners and admins |
| Memberships | Plans and members. Available for organizations in Argentina. | Owners, admins and membership administrators |
| Website | Statistics, general information, FAQs, SEO and chatbot settings for your site. | Owners and admins |
| Offers | Offers for your buyers. Requires a website. | Owners and admins |
| Notifications | Choose which alerts you get on your phone and by email. | Everyone |
| Settings | Payments, payouts, visible modules, billing and discount codes for the organization. | Owners and admins |
The Menu also has My Profile, Language, Appearance (light or dark theme) and Logout.
Note: If a module was hidden for your organization from Settings, that section does not appear in the app either.
Validating tickets with the QR code
The Validate tab turns your phone into a ticket scanner.
- Choose the event under Event to validate and the date under Date to validate. Until you pick both, the app reminds you with Select an event and date to validate.
- Tap the scan button. The camera opens with the hint Position the QR code within the frame.
- Point at the buyer's code. The app checks it and shows the result on screen; you can keep scanning without leaving.
While you validate, the main screen shows the entry statistics for that date, updated with every validation (including the ones made by other validators at the same event).
What the app can show when you scan
| Result | What it means |
|---|---|
| Valid ticket / Valid add-on | The ticket (or add-on) is correct and is now marked as entered. |
| Ticket already validated | That code was already used. The app shows Validation details: Validated by and Validated at, so you know who scanned it and when. |
| Entry deadline passed | The ticket had an entry deadline configured and it is over. The app shows until what time it was valid. |
| QR code does not belong to the selected event date | The buyer has a ticket for another date. The app suggests: Select the correct event date above. |
| This ticket belongs to an event from another brand | The code belongs to another organization. |
| Invalid ticket | The code does not match a Fanz ticket or cannot be read. |
When a ticket is not validated, the app includes the section Why it was not validated with the reason.
Undoing an accidental scan
If you scanned a ticket you should not have (for example, someone who was not entering yet), right after validating it you will see Accidental scan? with the Undo validation button. As a safety measure you have to tap it twice: the app tells you Tap undo again to confirm. The ticket becomes available for entry again.
Note: Validation happens online, checking with Fanz at that moment. The app does not store validations to sync later, so make sure you have signal or Wi‑Fi at the entrance.
Live tracking on iPhone
On iPhone, while you validate, the app can show the entry count on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. You can also add widgets to your Home Screen for daily sales, validations and RRPP sales.
Selling and sending courtesies from your phone
In the Sell tab you choose the event and the date, then the operation:
- Sell: ticket office. Pick tickets and quantities, enter the buyer's details and close the sale.
- Reserve: hold tickets under someone's name to complete later.
- Courtesy: hand out free tickets, just like from the web.
- Record: what was sold, reserved or handed out from that ticket office.
Events with a numbered seat map
Yes, the app supports events with numbered seating. When the event has a seat map, the Sell tab shows the interactive map: pinch to zoom, pan around the venue and tap each seat to pick it. From there you can sell, reserve or send courtesies choosing the exact seats, see who a seat belongs to and swap seats between attendees.
What is not available in the app
The app covers almost everything you do on the web dashboard. What stays on the computer is the visual editing of your website: homepage, branding, pages, ticket designs and the AI site builder. In the app, the Website section shows your live site and, in the design tab, the notice Edit on your computer:
These visual editors need a larger screen. Open the web dashboard on your computer to work on them — changes appear automatically on your public site.
From the app you can still create the site if your organization does not have one yet, and edit its statistics, general information, FAQs, SEO and chatbot.
Notifications on your phone
The app alerts you in real time with push notifications. Turn them on and adjust them from Menu → Notifications:
- Push notifications: tap Enable notifications and accept the system permission. When they are on, the app shows Push notifications are enabled on this device.
- ON THIS DEVICE: choose which kinds of alerts you want on this phone.
- BY EMAIL: on top of push, you can get an email for every sale (Ticket sales, Membership sales).
| Alert | When it arrives | Who gets it |
|---|---|---|
| Ticket sales | Every time a ticket is sold. You can follow all events or only some. | Owners, admins and members assigned to the event who can see its sales |
| Membership sales | When someone subscribes to a membership. | Owners and admins |
| Refund requests | When a buyer asks for a refund. | Owners and admins |
| Customer feedback | When a new review from an attendee comes in. | Owners and admins |
| Cancelled memberships | When a member cancels their membership. | Owners and admins |
| Pending chatbot replies | When your assistant left a reply waiting for your review. | Owners |
Tapping a notification takes you straight to the purchase, the request or the memberships section.
Common problems
I can't sign in
Use exactly the same credentials as on the web dashboard. If you sign in to the web with Google or Apple, tap that same option in the app; don't try email and password if you never set one up.
I don't see my organization
The app only shows organizations where your account is part of the team. If you see No organizations found and the text Your account is not associated with any organization yet., ask the owner or an admin to invite you from Team (in the app or on the web). If you were invited with a different email from the one you use to sign in, you won't see the organization: sign in with the email that received the invitation.
I don't see a tab or section
Each tab is shown according to your role (see the tables above). If you need, for example, to validate tickets and don't see Validate, ask an admin to change your role or grant you that permission. The module may also be hidden from Settings.
The camera doesn't open to scan
The app needs permission to use the camera. If you tap the scan button and see Camera Permission Required, accept it when your phone asks. If you see Camera Access Denied, tap Open Settings and enable the camera for Fanz in your phone's settings, then come back to the app.
I scanned and it doesn't validate
Check the message the app shows: most often the code is for another date of the same event (QR code does not belong to the selected event date) or it was already used (Ticket already validated). Also make sure you have an internet connection.
