You can now control exactly which part of your homepage hero banner stays in frame — no matter the screen size. Focal points let you pin the most important area of each banner image so that cropping always works in your favor, on both desktop and mobile.

Set focal points for desktop and mobile banners

In Website, you can now define a focal point for each hero banner image on your homepage. Simply select the key area of the image — a face, a logo, a crowd — and the public site will use that coordinate as the anchor when cropping and repositioning the image across different screen sizes. Desktop and mobile each have their own focal point setting, giving you precise control over how the banner appears on every device.
