Birthday automation trigger now available

Automation flows in Marketing just got smarter: you can now target attendees on their birthday with a dedicated trigger built exactly for that purpose.

Birthday trigger in Flows

The Flows tab inside Marketing now includes a native Birthday trigger type. Previously, birthday-based automations required a workaround using a generic site-activity trigger — that approach is no longer needed. The new trigger automatically enrolls contacts on a scheduled basis, so birthday messages go out at the right time without any manual intervention. Existing flows that were using the previous workaround have been migrated to the new trigger automatically.
