Automatic Ticket Promotions

Automatic Ticket Promotions

Organizers can now configure quantity-based promotions directly on ticket rates — 2×1, 3×2, 5×4, or any custom rule — that apply at checkout with no code required.

Configuring promotions

Inside the ticket edit form, each rate now has an "Automatic promotion" toggle. Enable it, choose a preset or set your own group size and discount, and save.

Promotions can be paused (toggle off) without losing the configuration.

Buyer experience

A badge appears on the event page for each rate with an active promotion. The discount applies automatically in checkout — no code entry.

Box office

Staff see applied promotions and their discount amounts in the sell button before confirming any sale. Works for both general admission and seating map events.

Stacking

  • Promotions on different rates stack independently.
  • Multiple promotions on the same rate: only the strongest applies.
  • Discount codes and membership discounts take priority — automatic promotions are skipped when either is active.

Reports and payouts

All revenue reports, bordereaux, and organizer payouts use the actual amount paid, not catalog prices. Free tickets generated by promotions show $0 on PDFs.
