Events Filter Tabs

v3.1.1January 26, 2026

Events Filter Tabs

Improved event filtering with a new tab bar for better organization and discoverability.

🎯 New Event Status Tabs

The events list now features a tab bar at the top of the page, replacing the previous dropdown selector. Each tab is clearly labeled with an icon so you can switch views at a glance — no need to click a dropdown to discover your options.

Filter Tabs (in order)

TabIconDescription
All events📅Shows all events regardless of status
Upcoming events🔜Shows only events with future dates (default)
Past events🕐Shows only events that have already ended
Drafts✉️Shows only unpublished draft events
Cancelled✖️Shows only events with cancelled dates

On mobile, a compact dropdown is shown instead to save screen space.

Benefits

  • Always visible: All filter options are shown at once — no hidden menu to discover
  • Faster switching: One click to change view, no dropdown required
  • Clearer UX: Active tab is highlighted with a blue underline indicator
  • Cancelled dates moved here: The previous "Show cancelled only" toggle in advanced filters has been replaced by the dedicated Cancelled tab
  • Persistent selection: Your tab choice is remembered across sessions

💡 Why This Change?

A dropdown hides your options until you interact with it, making it easy to miss. Tabs make all available views immediately visible and scannable — the same pattern used in Reports, Settings, and Memberships throughout the dashboard.

  1. The default view shows Upcoming events — what you're actively managing
  2. Switch to Past events to review completed events and their metrics
  3. Use Drafts to find events you haven't published yet
  4. Select All events for a complete overview
  5. Use Cancelled to view dates that have been cancelled

This makes it much clearer where your events are and prevents the "where did my event go?" confusion.
